Based in our Wellington Parliamentary office, you will collaborate with colleagues in Auckland and Christchurch to deliver high quality events and community engagement opportunities for Green MPs. This includes online events and political engagement.
Your work will be an essential part of building public awareness about the work of Green Party MPs and engaging New Zealanders in the democratic process through petitions and online submission guides.
You are somebody who can build and maintain networks. You will attend hui, meetings, and forums on behalf of the parliamentary party.

**Ngā haepapa - Responsibilities**:

- Developing high quality and engaging event plans and communications plans
- Engaging members of the public with the work of Green MPs, in person and online
- Identifying issues in the community of potential concern to the Green Party and providing advice on their resolution
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with local community groups and networks
- Maintaining networks both inside and outside of Parliament to further the parliamentary party's parliamentary interests

He aha te pai o te mahi ki Te Ratonga Whare Pāremata? - Why work for Parliamentary Service?

- We are proud of He Ao Takitaki (our Te Ao Māori strategy); we offer karakia, waiata, and reo Māori opportunities along with opportunities through other staff networks
- Our core values are at the heart of how we work: Integrity, Manaakitanga, Accountability, Whanaungatanga, and Empowerment

As an employee of Parliamentary Service, you will be politically impartial in your role. An awareness of the political landscape may be beneficial in supporting your MP.
The Parliamentary Service appoints on merit and is committed to EEO and good employer principles.
Applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 27 March 2024.
