**Our Exciting Opportunity**:
Ericsson New Zealand is growing As a result, we are now looking for a Solution Architect. Our Solution Architect is responsible for providing Radio Access Network Engineering functions, supporting new product introduction and critical initiatives projects in relation to RAN site solutions, as well as adapting existing processes, tools, and methods.

**In this role, you will**:

- Further develop your existing experience in RAN Configuration and Site Solution Engineering
- Work extensively with 3G, 4G, and 5G technology and solution types
- Provide solution support for the New Product Introduction (NPI) work and engaging with the customer on the overall solution, identifying any gaps and defining NPI priority
- Provide support to drive automation initiatives
- Provide support on any RAN related project initiatives and how this would impact operations and performance
- Provide assistance to Customer Operations teams and in coordination with Supplier support review release notes/risks and undertake an impact assessment for any software/hardware upgrades/patches and involvement in the deployment coordination with the Customer Operations teams
- Undertake solution performance KPI monitoring and reporting
- Provide support to the Supplier teams undertaking any network software upgrades
- Confidence to carry out skills transfer in an ad-hoc manner and group forums
- Be a proactive advocate for Ericsson within the Customer Environment, looking for opportunities for Ericsson to support and contributed to the Customer
- Be self-guided and tasked individual, who actively seeks out answers to queries and solution concepts

- Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or related field
- Significant experience in telecommunication operator and/or vendor environment
- Excellent knowledge of 5G/LTE landscape, strategies and technology roadmaps and has proven ability in 5G/LTE troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and solid understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and high-level communications
- Demonstratable experience in establishing relationships and influencing key customers and partners and have interworking knowledge between industry prime vendors, and experience & understanding in multi-vendor network interworking
- Ericsson product and solutions knowledge
- Network roll-out project delivery
- Experience within field trials and deployment of new products / technologies into a network environment
- Customer-facing experience - consultation and negotiation
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Good appreciation of operational and financial issues
