**ECE Kaiako - Glen Eden West Kindergarten (part time 20 hours)**

Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) is seeking a qualified and registered ECE Kaiako to join our dedicated team at Glen Eden West Kindergarten. This is a permanent part time position (20 hours Monday -Friday).

**The Role**
As an ECE Kaiako at Glen Eden West Kindergarten, you will play a vital role in shaping young lives. You will collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality early childhood education aligned with Te Whāriki.
We are seeking a passionate and committed educator who can:
- Build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of play-based learning and bicultural practices
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Utilise ICT effectively to enhance teaching and learning
- Embrace ongoing professional development
**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
- ECE qualifications, current registration and first aid certificate
- A strong commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for working with young tamariki
- Strong skills in planning and assessment
