**What **you’ll** be doing**

The role is about being the front end for Chorus producing Network infrastructure solutions and upfront customer pricing through multiple workstreams.

As a Network Scoper you will be responsible for producing feasibility designs and estimated pricing quotes in response to requests from developers, end customers, community projects, network relocates and more. These outcomes will need to meet the telecommunications needs of the customer. The feasibility designs produced will be cost effective, fit for purpose, meet all coverage and performance requirements, and adhere to design standards.

**What **you’ll** bring to the table**

Having a real passion for what you do is important and a great start. But it’ll take more than that to succeed in this role. To deliver new network solutions to the end customer effectively you’ll ideally need the below skills; but many of these can be learnt over time where development is needed:

- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to create win-win outcomes
- Good understanding in the design, build and operation of a telecommunication local access network
- Sound knowledge of NetMap (GE smallworld) or similar GIS or CAD based systems
- Understanding of the use of the Build Service Contract Build codes
- Ability to complete Bill of Materials and Cost Estimate spreadsheets and analyse as required
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong motivation and drive to deliver
- To be a team player with the ability to manage across the business, have a collaborative team-based approach that motivates others
- A desire to accept accountability and show leadership
- Be self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible
- Curiosity to learn and grow in the role - with a range of training and support available.
