Our client, a reputable and thriving fire protection services company, is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Technician to join their team in the stunning region of Hawkes Bay.

Position: Sprinkler Technician - Maintenance Specialist
Location: Palmerston North, with travel to Hawkes Bay and Taranaki

Purpose:
This role is to provide sprinkler support to the Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay and Taranaki branches. There will be travel out of town on a regular basis.

To undertake the tasks and duties of a Sprinkler Service Technician. Ensuring that the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness for these duties is maintained. To deliver a highest-level service to our customers on all sprinkler service-related matters and ensure all administrative details are handled promptly.

Job Summary:
This role includes the servicing and maintaining of sprinkler systems and some installation work may be involved.

It is a field-based job where you are visiting customer sites to maintain, diagnose faults and repair fire sprinkler systems. Some installation work may be involved.
- Your Role:

- As a Sprinkler Technician, your primary responsibility will be maintaining, inspecting, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial properties. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting routine inspections to ensure sprinkler systems are compliant with regulations and functioning optimally.
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the sprinkler systems promptly.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of service visits and tasks performed.

**Requirements**:

- To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience as a Sprinkler Technician, with a minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance-focused experience.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as Fire Protection License and Fire Sprinkler Fitter Certificate are a bonus.
- Knowledge of NZ Building Code requirements related to fire protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
