Gardener / Groundsperson

Were looking to add to our Wellington team, and are seeking individuals with a real passion and energy for garden and grounds care. The Positions available require a varied skill set with experience in garden care an advantage, however full training and ongoing support will be provided. We have roles in Central Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua/Whitby and the Hutt Valley available.

YOUR DAILY TASKS MIGHT INCLUDE:

- Gardening - from weeding, seasonal detailing, planting and everything in between
- Turf Care - hand and ride-on mowing, weed and pest management, renovations
- Hard surface clearing of leaf litter and debris
- Irrigation installation and repairs
- Minor amenity tree maintenance
- Hedge trimming
- Weed management with organic sprays
- Monitoring for plant pests and diseases
- Conversations directly with our clients and property users, catering to garden requests and queries
- Working within a team, upskilling and supporting while creating a friendly and productive work environment

YOU WILL NEED:

- To be passionate about grounds and gardens
- A positive, proactive and hard working attitude
- Great people skills
- Good level of fitness and physical ability and the ability to use outdoor hand and power tools
- Full, clean NZ drivers license and own transport
