**Requirements**:
**What you’ll need to be a Laser Turret Punch Operator**
- Set-up, adjust and prepare turret punch/laser combination nc jobs (Current machines: Amada with Fanuc Controls). Set-up includes but is not limited to:

- Finding proper tooling set up
- Check the heights of tooling and adjust
- Set up and adjustment of material
- Locate and upload proper program from machine controls
- Ensure optimal laser cutting conditions
- Provide immediate feedback, to supervisor on jobs not meeting

set up and/or production standards- Relevant experience setting up and programming laser/punch machines
- Should know how to analyze and write simple G, M and other programming codes and also understand and select laser cutting gases and parameters for optimal cutting.
- Position requires good mathematical ability and the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Position requires the ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and protractors.
