**The Role**: Registered Nurse | Rehabilitation

We are looking for passionate and experienced rehabilitation nurses to work join a team of highly experienced medical specialists providing a high standard of comprehensive Rehabilitation Nursing supporting those with a Traumatic Brain Injury, Concussion, major trauma injuries and Neurodisability back to everyday life

**FTE Available**: Full time, Permanent

**Location**: Porirua, Wellington

Our client is a leading service provider for clients with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries in Auckland and Wellington. You would be working in partnership with clients and their families/whanau with high cognitive and medical needs, participating in assessments of clients and development of their individual rehabilitation plan. You would also be working in partnership with clients and their families/whanau with high cognitive and medical needs.

Experience in brain injury, neurology, rehabilitation or a similar area is ideal, but if you have solid nursing skills and wish to develop your interest in the area of neurorehabilitation, our client will provide comprehensive specialty training for you.

**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Must have health screen test and valid CPR
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to be eligible to work as a healthcare professional
- Current full NZ Driver Licence
- 5 years post graduate experience
- Trachea and Peg trained
- Medimap experienced
- Post-graduate experience working with clients who have neurological impairments or in a rehabilitation setting
- Be self-directed, flexible and have good organisational skills
- Communicate collaboratively and effectively
- Be capable of moving, repositioning, interacting with and caring for clients with ABI / neurological conditions
- Post-graduate courses related to Rehabilitation _desirable_
- Diploma in Rehabilitation _desirable_
