**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced **Superintendent** to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations on site and ensuring that all projects meet safety, quality, and budgetary targets. Working closely with project managers, you will be responsible for optimizing work methods, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a strong background in civil construction and a commitment to safety and environmental management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement**
Collaborate with project managers to develop work plans, optimize resources, and reduce costs. Lead initiatives to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
- **Process Optimization**
Continuously assess workflows and implement lean construction techniques to enhance efficiency across projects.
- **Innovation & Best Practices**
Research and integrate innovative construction methods and mentor staff on best practices.
- **Quality Assurance & Environmental Management**
Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with environmental regulations. Oversee testing, inspections, and quality checks.
- **Resource Optimization**
Manage plant, labor, and materials to maximize productivity and meet budgetary constraints.
- **People Leadership & Development**
Lead, mentor, and develop crews to meet operational standards. Manage subcontractor performance and address any issues to ensure project success.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**
Implement and monitor safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Relevant certifications in construction supervision, safety, and equipment operation.
- Current First Aid certificate and full Class 1 driver's license.
- Proven supervisory experience within the civil construction industry.
- Strong understanding of operational efficiencies and work method optimization.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
