Pinnacle is offering an exciting opportunity to play a key part to improve immunisations across the Waikato. Working closely with the Waikato Immunisation Facilitator, General Practices and other key stakeholders the successful applicant will provide support, education and assessments for vaccinators. There will also be the opportunity to identify areas for immunisation improvements and lead small immunisation improvement projects. A key objective of this project is to improve immunisation coverage for Māori and Pacific children, and other priority groups with high rates of vaccine preventable disease and low immunisation rates.

This is a fixed term, full-time position (0.8 FTE would be considered), for a 12 - 18 month period.

Please download the position description for more details on the role.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
- Are you an innovative and experienced registered nurse (with a current APC), who is looking for an opportunity to extend the depth of your knowledge of immunisations?
- Are you an Independent Authorised Vaccinator?
- Are you interested in leading immunisation improvement activities?
- Do you enjoy engaging with a broad range of people?
- Do you have great communication skills?
- Do you enjoy change and managing a range of tasks?

**Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer**

This role will offer you the opportunity to join a group of skilled and passionate people focused on improving immunisation outcomes for the populations we serve. The work is community focused with the opportunity to utilise your leadership, planning and implementation skills to develop planned improvement activities. You will be supported by your Pinnacle colleagues with knowledge development and relationship building to support your success in the role. Your work will focus on reducing immunisation coverage inequity for our Māori and Pacific children.

Pinnacle strives to uphold the principles of partnership, participation and protection underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We offer a supportive workplace, great people to work with, a competitive salary and other organisational benefits.
