**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The HR Services team comprises of payroll, HR service delivery, systems support and reporting. The team provides critical support to the organisation through the fortnightly payment of employees and delivery of infrastructure to support employment requirements and all related HR services. It works within a broader People and Culture team responsible for Business Partnering, Recruitment, Organisational Development and Communications.

As an Organisational Structure Specialist, the primary purpose of the role is to work with employees and managers to ensure accurate management of the Organisational and Workplace Structures in the Payroll system. The role needs to ensure correct and timely execution of structure changes and to provide support to managers regarding FTE management.

**Mōu | About you**

You will_ _maintain organisational unit structure codes for up to 4000 positions to ensure accuracy of hierarchical management reports, update Responsibility Codes (RCs), create Position Codes (PCs) and access Position Descriptions (PDs) understanding where to position roles in the organisational structure, as well as assign ANZSCO codes to all positions.

You will maintain workplace codes within the ‘Leader' system to ensure the accuracy of location information is maintained.

You will resolve issues related to employees' reporting lines in respect to their current position in the organisational structure and communicate the changes required linking into all HR systems including updating the Mahi ē Taea team.

You will perform systems testing for any changes impacting on the organisational structure or RC's, including completing changes as per approved ‘Create or Change Position Form' and update the reporting lines and FTE, position, ensuring managers have correct security access to cost centres when starting or moving positions etc.

- A strong understanding of Payroll processes
- Sound written and verbal skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer MS Office skills including Excel, and experience using Vlookups
