Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. It weaves the functions of the 20 former District Health Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuring continuity of services in the health system.

**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

The General Medicine department at Christchurch Hospital is a busy and dynamic acute service, dealing with over 16000 admissions per year. All patients are assessed in our 40-bed acute medical assessment unit (MA), before being transferred to one of three dedicated General Medical wards.

We are seeking a General Medicine Physician (Consultant) to join us on a 12 month Fixed Term, Part Time (0.5 FTE) position.
