Wellington City, New Zealand The Top Kitchen Full time

**The Top Kitchen** is looking for 2 full-time waitress who are sincere, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and with a sufficient understanding of customer service to join our Wellington CBD restaurant.

**Key Information**:

- Good pay of $25 per hour.
- 30 - 50hrs per week on shift.
- The Top Kitchen opens 6 days a week, closes on every Tuesday.
- Must be able to work on some weekends, Christmas and holiday seasons (Some Public Holidays may be closed).

**Basic Requirements**:

- No prior work experience required but would be advantage if you have already worked in hospitality industry.
- On-the-job-training will be provided if you are the right one.
- Long-term commitment required.
- Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast
- A "can-do" attitude

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting guests, presenting, explaining, and suggesting menu items to guests
- Taking drink and food orders
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area, report any issues which require the restaurant manager’s attention
- Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and dishes are presentable for guests
- Following health and safety codes/standards with regard to food handling
- Setting up tables, arranging cutleries, wiping tables etc.
- Delivering bills to the customer and accepting payments
