**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role**
This role will involve joint teaching in IT infrastructure and networking and software engineering teams. So, it is an excellent opportunity to connect with the team across all disciplines in all programs offered.
The successful applicant will work with a staff of experienced IT practitioners and educators. The successful applicant is expected to have various technical skills and knowledge of key technologies, including educational technologies.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills/Experience**
- Experience and knowledge of IT and IT solutions across networking and software development disciplines.
- A broad range of technical skills, such as configuring servers, switches, and routers and supporting a network environment, software development platforms, and database knowledge and technologies.
- A qualification (degree - tertiary - preferably postgraduate). Applicants with equivalent industry experience, having operated in tech roles for several years, will be considered and, if successful, supported to complete academic qualifications.
- A commitment to facilitating one's own and others' learning.
- The ability to develop and implement flexible teaching and learning methods supports students to achieve learning outcomes.
- Time management skills, including effective and efficient administering, organising and coordinating.
- Engagement with assessment and feedback processes.
- Effective communication with a diverse range of others at all levels within and outside the organisation
- Use a range of teaching and learning technologies.
- Developing course material and assessments.
