Gribbles Veterinary Pathology is New Zealand’s leading provider of veterinary diagnostic services operating five laboratories nationwide. Gribbles Christchurch is a fully equipped, IANZ accredited, diagnostic laboratory which performs a range of testing, on behalf of private veterinarians, research organisations, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, zoos and the food industry.

We are currently looking for a casual Laboratory Technician preferably with Histology experience to join the team at our Christchurch laboratory. You will be covering staff sick and annual leave, and during busy periods.

**The ideal applicant **will have**:

- A Science qualification or in the process of completing your qualification
- Medical or veterinary diagnostic experience
- Ability to communicate and work effectively within a laboratory
- Extremely well organised, detail oriented and friendly with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst working within a team
- Ability to organise, prioritise and focus on daily work to meet turnaround times

The successful applicant needs to have a “hands on” approach to their work due to the nature of the laboratory.
