Cabinet Marker

Main duties are Fabricating or repairing wooden furniture, and fits and assembles prepared wooden parts to make furniture.
- examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications
- selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board and synthetic wood
- marking out, cutting and shaping wood
- working from drawings and specifications to make furniture
- assembling parts to form sections of furniture and completed articles
- fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves
- making frames for chairs and couches
- may repair and refurbish furniture
- Other duties may be reasonable required by the employer or any other representative

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years working experiences with verified experience
- At least NZQF Level 4 in relevant fields is preferable but not a must
- Attention to details and a hard-working attitude;
- physically capable to perform heavy work
- be able to work overtime
- excellent work ethic and great time management passion for the industry;

Full time: 30 - 50 hours per week
