Mandated by Cabinet and supported by an MBIE secretariat based in the regions, the Regional Skills Leadership Groups (RSLGs) are independent regionally-led advisory groups working to identify and support workforce and skills needs across 15 regions in New Zealand, both now and in the future.

RSLGs feature regional leaders from industry, iwi/Māori, economic development agencies, trade unions and government. The appointed members provide a local leadership voice and common view into the region's investment requirements for skills and training. We have an opportunity for an Advisor to work as part of the Southern RSLG Secretariat. Based in Otago (actual location within the Otago region is flexible), you will work alongside Senior and Principal level Advisors whilst supporting the Otago Regional Lead and Otago RSLG.
