**What we are looking for**:

- Stong experience in CNC machining, including programming (Fanuc manual guide i), setup, and operation of CNC lathes and mills.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience with measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) to ensure high-precision tolerances.
- Understanding of fits, tolerances, and machining principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

**Skills and Experience That Are Not Required but Nice to Have**:

- Experience with Heidenhain and Siemens controllers.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
- Experience in gearbox overhauls or precision assembly.
- Familiarity with tooling selection and optimisation.

**To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have**:

- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Fitting & Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety protocols.
