Auckland City, New Zealand Figured Ltd Full time

**Figured**

One of the biggest causes of stress for farmers comes from not knowing their financial position, not feeling in control, and not feeling supported. Figured provides peace of mind by providing farmers with clarity and control, and by connecting them to their financial advisors. We have taken this unique proposition across from Aoteroa to Australia, Uk, Ireland and North America. We are currently helping over 30,000 farmers run more profitable and sustainable operations by using our software to manage the financial performance of their farm.

**Lay of the land**

We pride ourselves on having a people first culture, we strive to strike the perfect balance between challenge and support, fostering a high-performing and positive environment. Hiring top talent and creating exceptional experiences for our team has been key to building a fantastic company that truly serves both our customers and the farming community.

**Requirements**:
Experience & skill requirements:
**The gig**

This is an opportunity to make a real impact on what’s considered to be the backbone of our society and key in all of our future.

We want to arm our customers, partners, and the whole farming team with actionable and unrivalled insight into their business - using the real-time data that no-one else in the industry has available. We're going to do that through the visualisation and surfacing of billions of data points - putting love and care into making the underlying story of the data clear to our users.

This position involves exploring the insights present in our data and being able to explain their relevance in a way that is comprehensible and actionable. You will define key areas within the product where we can add value and help optimise our product.

Ideally this won’t be your first rodeo however we are willing to develop your technical skills in exchange for your deep domain knowledge and experience, we are after someone that knows farming data.

**Responsibilities**:
On a day to day you will be (and probably a lot more):
Market Insights Collaboration
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to gather requirements and continuously monitor and analyse relevant market data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain benchmarking frameworks to assess the agri market performance, analyse trends and model out market scenarios to provide Figured Agri Insight in the market and guide targeted marketing campaigns.

Internal Insights Support
- Provide data-driven insights to internal teams, contributing to the development and enhancement of our financial management software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to explore new possibilities for utilising data to drive innovation.

AI and Technology Integration
- Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating AI technologies into the Figured platform.

**Experience & skill requirements**:
We’d prefer a legend with limited experience than someone with lots of experience being a bit average
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a finance industry or agricultural domain
- Analytical thinking is second nature coupled with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or similar tools
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- Enthusiasm for staying updated with emerging trends in data analysis, AI, and technology

**Benefits**

**Why work at Figured?**

Figured offers a progressive, dynamic, and collaborative work environment, providing an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded, passionate, and driven people who want to make a real difference in the lives of customers and the agriculture industry.
- Purpose: Join a key product role in a company that is making a significant impact in an industry that feeds the world.
- Growth: Enjoy plenty of professional development opportunities with a dedicated budget for courses, workshops, and conferences aligned with your personal growth goals.
- Flexibility: We prioritise the impact you make over where and how you work. Experience our hybrid work environment, where you can enjoy the comfort of your home and the energy and buzz of our amazing Auckland city office (which remains to be a preference for most).
- Health: Benefit from extra leave with 25 days off per year and subsidised health insurance (Wellbeing Two) with Southern Cross.
- Fun: Engage in daily quizzes, indulge in Tim Tams, enjoy fresh fruit, ice cream, and Friday Kai. Our social club offers a variety of rituals that bring us together.

This is an incredible opportunity to join something extraordinary and contribute to the development of a world-class workplace.
