We are currently seeking a talented Renewables Programme Manager to join our team.

**The opportunity**

As the Renewables Programme Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of large distributed generation customer-initiated projects. Your mission will be to connect renewable energy sources to the Northpower Network, making a tangible difference in the way power is generated and utilized., you will role model success in several technical and people functions:

- You will be the driving force behind the seamless delivery of our renewable energy projects. Take ownership of every aspect - from concept to completion - ensuring that projects are on schedule, within budget, and exceed all expectations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, weaving a network of partnerships with connected customers, industry players, and key decision-makers. Your strong communication skills and influential spirit will be the catalyst for united action.
- Dare to challenge conventions and embrace novel approaches to project management. Your expertise will pave the way for transformative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

**Who we’re looking for**

To be considered for this role you will naturally be a people leader and possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as:

- A mind alive with electrical expertise and/or a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Power Engineering, or a related field.
- Fearless experience in project delivery, coupled with the art of managing stakeholders, crafting business cases, and captivating workshop facilitation.
- Deep knowledge of power transmission and distribution technology, coupled with a love for the electricity industry in NZ.
- A magician in project management methodologies and tools, using them to unlock the full potential of every endeavor.
- A communication virtuoso, captivating hearts and minds with your compelling storytelling and unwavering passion for a sustainable future.

Northpower is an electricity and fibre network provider for Whangarei and Kaipara, with more than 60,000 connected customers. We also provide contracting services to our partners - other network owners and operators across New Zealand.

We have over 1,300 staff working together across 14 locations to keep the power on and the lights going for our customers.
