**About the role**
We are seeking a dynamic Kaiako Matua to oversee the operational and academic facets, ensuring excellence in our education endeavours. At DynaSpeak, we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality NZCEL programme, offering a unique English Language learning experience in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Our commitment to quality education and fostering an exceptional learning environment sets us apart.
As the Kaiako Matua, you’ll be at the forefront of managing the Queen Street sites day-to-day operations and academic functions. Your leadership will guide our academic and non-academic staff, ensuring a seamless execution of our programmes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Taking charge of the site operations requirements, overing seeing staffing, procedures, and administration duties, including student enrolment and pastoral support.
- Lead an academic team, providing support to educators to ensure compliance with procedures and uphold our quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive reports on operational matters and contributing to internal and external reviews.
- Engage in teaching activities when required, to support the educational objectives of the site.
- Play a pivotal role in fostering DynaSpeaks reputation and contribute to the enhancement of our educational standing in the community.
**About you**
You will also bring with you:
- Degree in Teaching/Education or Leadership
- CELTA or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in an EL environment
- NCALNE
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
