**The Opportunity**
We are looking for Laboratory Technicians for our Wellington based commercial laboratory. These are permanent full-time opportunities, working either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
You will build your experience in a top-quality commercial laboratory environment and develop your knowledge of Laboratory testing and reporting. Initially starting in our Serology team which covers the preparation and testing of animal serum, these roles will lead on to opportunities in the preparation and testing of food samples.
Tasks will include:

- Logging in of samples
- Testing of animal serum
- Quality checking
- Use of laboratory instrumentation
- Administrative data collection

**About you**
To be successful in the role you will require:

- A tertiary education in Science or similar
- A passion for science with some knowledge of serology principles and laboratory techniques
- Previous experience from a fast-moving commercial/customer environment
- Great attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data management and the ability to prioritise process
- Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos
