Barber

Punjabi Barbers is currently looking for experienced barbers to join our team in multiple locations (Auckland, Hamilton, Te Puke).

About the role:
This is a full-time job with minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay rate will be $29.70 to $30.00 per hour based on work

experience.

The Applicant will be required to colour, shampoo, cut, style, communicate with customers and provide advice in relation to hair treatments.

Job duties will include:
Cut, trim and shape hair or hair pieces as per client's requirements using clippers, scissors, trimmers, and razors.

Provide beard trims to clients looking for grooming.

Schedule client appointments.

Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp with water, liquid soap, or other solutions.

Demonstrate and sell hair care products.

Keep workstation clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs.

Provide suggestions to clients regarding current hair styles and popular trends.

Ensure that sufficient items such as clean wrap sheets and towels are available on an ongoing basis. Resolve clients' complaints properly in a bid to ensure recurring business from them.

Answer clients' questions regarding barbershop's facilities and hair care products.

Other requirements: Certificate level qualification or 2 years of work experience. Strong client relationship skills. Exceptional communication skills. Able to work unsupervised, providing a consistently high standard of work

**Salary**: $29.70 - $30.00 per hour
