**What’s the role?**

We are very excited to welcome a Software Developer to our team. This role is a full-time and permanent position based in Miramar, Wellington.

You will lead the software development of Thundergrid’s research and development, to continually improve the business.

This role will oversee the integrations between systems (EV charging platform, billing systems and other external APIs), reporting in Power BI, and managing a data pipeline from the EV charging platform into AWS. The developer will also work on the research and development of new solutions for EV charging infrastructure.

The developer will work in collaboration with the team to problem-solve and work towards long-term sustainable solutions.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Lead, manage and develop software solutions which are responsible for improving workflows and processes, providing data insights and managing electrical load across the network.
- Work closely with management team to provide input on software solutions to drive growth, enhance efficiency, and improve customer experience.
- Implement solutions for continuous improvement and efficiency in daily operations and service delivery.
- Responsible for operational decision making on software and IT platforms, both day to day and in times of crisis management.
- Generate reports on EV charging use to provide insights on EV charging use and use data insights to implement improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest software developments and technologies.

**What we are looking for**:
You’ll be able to hit the ground running with your previous experience in AWS and cloud services, API integration and development, unit and Integration testing.

We would love for you to knowledge of Python, React, Typescript, HTML, CSS, NoSQL database preferably DynamoDB, GitHub with ideal knowledge in Java, DevOps, IoT networking protocols (Modbus, MQTT etc,), RabbitMQ, PowerBI and business analysis tools.
