**General Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services - APAC, this newly established role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure and services across Warner Bros. Discovery APAC East region (New Zealand, Australia and Japan). You will manage a team of Infrastructure and Network Engineers who run our on premise systems which support corporate users as well as broadcast and production workflows. We are constantly improving, so there is always a project, maintenance activity or an upgrade happening in our region. It's not all management, when you’ve got your team in order there's an opportunity for you to pick up the tools and help out.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day to day management of Infrastructure and Network Engineers reporting into the role.
- Alignment of team to established global standards and where these standards don’t fit APAC, establish localised versions.
- Prioritisation of tasks coming from multiple sources (Project tasks, maintenance, break fix etc)
- Key contributor to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
- Look for opportunities to streamline and consolidate operations
- Identify areas for improvement within APAC region and propose and prioritise solutions and improvements
- Contribute to the creation of and prioritisation of Capex and Opex investment plans and budgets
- Be accountable for the resolution of >3rd level issues or impacting APAC operations
- Take ownership of seeing the resolution of issues impacting network equipment and components.
- Problem management of complex issues requiring long term resolution
- Define and establish maintenance and monitoring requirements for APAC systems, ensuring we have appropriate support
- Be an escalation point for issues, provide updates and communication and or coordination to stakeholders
- Oversight of on premise VM storage environment.
- Oversight of physical installation, upgrades and maintenance of on site network, server and storage infrastructure.
- Fully understand and adhere to Technology & Operations standards and procedures both in technical and functional areas.
- Contribute to the planning and design of architecture and services for the APAC East region. Capture requirements from multiple sources and translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Assist with the delivery of Infrastructure components and services for technology projects within APAC, ensuring project remains on track, providing technical and operational updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with the support of infrastructure and services at other sites within the region
- Escalate complex issues and work with offshore peers to resolve issues and return services to operation in a timely manner.
- Write procedures, reports, tasks, impact analysis and support documentation for systems under management
- Oversight of technical facilities, serverooms and data centre environments

**Qualities Required**:

- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise according to changing demands and pivot teams and tasks as required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assess to determine their priority in complex situations.
- Project Management skills essential
- 3 to 5 years information systems experience in a level three/four support role.
- 3 to 5 years experience in Team lead or Management role
- At least 5 years experience working with Windows/Virtual Server Operating Systems, their configuration and design.
- Development and enforcement of standards, policies and best practices are expected in this role.
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong client interface and verbal and written communication skills.
- Administrative, prioritisation, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Detailed understanding of the following technologies: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Domains, Powershell and VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, etc).
- Experience working within an ITIL methodology is desired.
