Despatch Coordinator

**What will you be doing?**
This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual who is interested in Sales and Supply Chain Planning. In this key position you will be report directly to the Site Manager and be part of the wider Sales and Marketing team.

There is the chance to make a difference to the day-to-day operations and really raise the bar in terms of best practice planning and execution of sales. This position can also offer a suitably motivated individual the opportunity to move into higher management roles within the Sales or Production teams.

**Core tasks include**:

- Managing the daily sales and despatch of timber for the Gisborne site
- Liaising with our customers and Sales Managers to achieve deliveries in full, on-time and in specification
- Ensuring the monthly Sales Plan is achieved and optimum stock turnover maintained
- Production Planning

**The successful applicant would have the following qualities**:

- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
- Be driven to achieve targets
- Computer literacy, with strong Excel capability
- High levels of attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can effectively multi-task and is flexible with changing work demands.

Ideally you will have two or more years’ experience in a similar role. Industry experience is advantageous but not necessary.
