We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator **to join our **Countdown Gore **team

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
- Face to face customer service at checkouts
- Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
- Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
- Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
- Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

**In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that**
- Understands good customer service.
- Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
- Work well within our team and communicate effectively
- A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
- A friendly smile and welcoming attitude

**The shifts times and days for this opportunity are:
**Shift 1: Sunday 1030-1830**

**Shift 2: Sunday 1300-1900**

**Shift 3: Sunday 1300-1700**

**Shift 4: Sunday 1600-2000**

**Shift 5: Saturday 1500-2115**

**Shift 6: Saturday 1600-2000**

**Shift 7: Monday 1100-1900**

**Shift 8: Friday 1500-1900
