**About the role**
**Duties**
- Substation equipment installations, and construction, maintenance and repair of the 11kV and 33kV network
- Undertake inspections, perform condition assessment and record asset condition
- Test and commission electrical equipment
- Cable testing and fault finding
- Participate in a callout roster for 24hr fault response and repair
- Liaise with the control centre, dispatch and operations staff, and other utilities/authorities
**Skills and experience**
- Extensive technical knowledge and a current electrical registration
- Experienced switching operator, would be an advantage
- Ability and experience to work independently and unsupervised
- Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
