**A bit about the role**

In this role not only will you need to have strong personal values which align with ours, you will need a work ethic that is second to none as this will be the true key to your success at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone.

As a Delivery Driver at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone you will have the opportunity to be involved in our Trade Drive-Thru and Timber yard and will be responsible for providing excellent service to our Trade and DIY customers.

**Hours for this position will be worked Monday to Friday with hours worked between 6.30am and 4.30pm.**

For this role, **a class 4 driver’s licence **,** and Hiabe qualified is a must. **A forklift driver's license with F endorsement (or previous experience with driving a forklift), will be advantageous)

**A bit about you**
- Some knowledge of timber and building products would be viewed favorably, however willingness to learn is key
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a great variety of customers
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to represent the company in a professional and obliging manner
- Adaptability and versatility are your bread and butter, as your tasks will be very varied and no two days will look the same
- ** A high standard of fitness is mandatory, as this is a physically demanding role**
