As the Sealing Foreperson, you’ll lead your team, organise, plan and direct the chip sealing operations to ensure that work is completed a high standard. You’ll overview the Seal requirements, complete first coats and reseals whilst maintaining a strong focus on health and safety. You’ll have overall responsibility for the crew meeting daily and monthly safety, quality and productivity targets.
You’ll work alongside the Operations Manager and other key stakeholders, so the ability to communicate with others is a must.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
You will bring with you experience leading a crew with a background in chip sealing. You’ll easily be able to deal with unexpected events and provide direction to your team.
You’ll couple this with:
- Knowledge of and experienced in Chipsealing including current specifications, procedures and best practise
- A flexible work approach, as no two days are the same
- Organised and systematic approach to your working environment
- Effective communication skills, you’ll be able to easily chat with your crew and engage with clients and senior managers
