**About the Role**

We're looking for an experienced Working Foreperson to join our Canterbury team. You will be a team player, and proud of the high-quality carpentry that you produce, time and time again.

**Duties**:

- Being a point of contact between the carpentry team and the Site Manager
- Manage the team and trade partners
- Leading toolbox tools, pre-starts, safety audits, inductions, incident reporting, completing timesheets, and mentoring team members
- Contributing to our supportive and inclusive positive Build Team and cooperating with our trade partners on site
- Carry out carpentry tasks as required
- Monitoring and maintaining levels of quality via Procore (construction management software)
- Working in a tidy and efficient manner
- Committing to being part of a positive health and safety culture

**Your tasks may include**:
Concrete work, framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and moulding. Excavations, demolition work, precast erection, reinforcing steel, roof framing.

**Experience and Skills required**:

- Post qualification experience in New Zealand or Australia preferred
- NZ Trade qualification in Carpentry
- Commercial build experience preferred
- Experience working in a leadership position on site
- Proven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfaction
- Ability to work well in team
- Time management
- MS office suite skills preferred
