Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityOur New Zealand Upgrade Programme is happy to announce an opportunity for a Senior Advisor, Reporting & Control to come on board and join their collaborative team to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects across Aotearoa. Focussing on the New Zealand Upgrade Programme (NZUP) which reflects the Government's balanced Transport Policy with $8.7 billion being invested in road, rail, public transport and walking and cycling projects across the country. Communities can look forward to transport improvements that provide better travel choices that help people get where they're going safely, while responding to the impacts of transport on the environment. The Programme Management Team provides advice, reporting and controls across project and programme performance, finance and cost management, risk, scheduling and planning, control implementation and monitoring.This is a truly rewarding role for a multi-disciplined person to work within a small team who are dedicated and love what they do Your flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to tackle new challenges will be integral to the role as you need to lean in and support a variety of activities across programmes. You can build trusted relationships, that ensures immediate value and enables informed decisions are able to be made within programme and project teams. In addition to this you will be involved in other tasks that will see you provide management and governance reporting with the ability to translate analytics at a commercial level that is targeted and easily understood. You will respond to queries ad hoc and last, but not least, develop new processes that improve outputs.No two days are alike, but if you thrive in a changing environment, you will love this roleKo koe tēnei | About youAs our Senior Advisor, you'll bring your experience to provide high quality reporting and ensure that programme leadership will have sufficient intelligence to make informed decisions.In addition, you'll bring:

- Experience within a construction project management discipline or similar discipline
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills and the ability present accurate and insightful reports for senior managers and external stakeholders
- Experience with providing governance level report is important
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience building positive working relationships with internal and external parties at all levels
- A good understanding of project and risk management.
