**The Opportunity**:

Veolia New Zealand operates and maintains the water and wastewater infrastructure in Queenstown. We are looking for someone to join our Team as a Network Supervisor responsible for supervising the Queenstown operations team, for water, wastewater and stormwater network maintenance, and the completion of administration work related to these activities.
**What you'll be responsible for**:
Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Supervisor will:
- Monitor and Supervise the operations and maintenance of the water, wastewater and stormwater networks throughout the Wakatipu area in accordance with the 15-002 Contract and Veolia procedures. The Wanaka area includes the townships of Wanaka, Luggate, Hawea, Cardrona and Albert Town.
- Supervise the Wanaka operations team.
- Complete the associated administration work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Positively contribute to the district based operations teams and provide general operation and maintenance assistance as appropriate.
- Participate in the Queenstown Lakes on call roster for the 15-002 Contract.

- Adhere to all written and verbal instructions, procedures and information issued by Veolia relating to both health and safety and environmental issues and with all relevant clauses of the Integrated Business Management System Manual.
- Comply with the requirements of the company business management system and the Quality Policy for drinking water delivery, wastewater transmission to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of the Contracts.
- Report any problems with the business management system, particularly in relation to the management of occupational health and safety, environment and drinking water.
- Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provision of services to the client and customers.
**Skills and competencies**:
**Qualifications**:
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or team leader role in the same or similar service industry.
- Level 4 National Certificate Reticulation - or a willingness to work towards gaining this qualification
**Experience**:
- Experience in water, wastewater and stormwater network operation and coordinating maintenance is advantageous.
- Previous experience in service delivery and / or trade is considered advantageous.

**Other relevant skills or information**:
- Computer literate.
- Current driver's licence (preferably with Class 2).
- Ability and willingness to work out of hours when required & if required to take part in an after hours on-call roster.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety legislation.
