**Diabetes Dietitian (Part time 0.8 - Monday - Friday)**

**Allied Health**

**North Shore and Waitakere Hospital**

The Diabetes Service provides support in an outpatient setting for adults with Type 1 (including insulin pump therapy), Type 2 and gestational diabetes.

Our team provides satellite clinics, facilitates group sessions and advises primary care practitioners in the nutritional management of diabetes.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be registered with the New Zealand Dietetics board, hold a current APC, and have a couple of years' experience in nutrition and dietetics Ideally you will have:

- Experience in outpatient clinical setting
- Experience implementing and delivering structured education for people with diabetes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as time management and organisation skills.
