**_ The Team: _**What we do**
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a tertiary hospital which is the electrophysiology and ICD centre for the South Island of New Zealand. You will be working alongside an experienced and knowledgeable team to nurture a theoretical understanding and practical competency across the Cardiac Physiologist scope of practice.
**This role is a **permanent **position 40 hours a week (1.0 FTE)**

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Having competency in a variety of areas, including: catheter laboratory and holter analysis
- Developing and maintaining skill levels and departmental standards.
**The key experience and attributes you possess;**
- Independent in Catheter Laboratory
- Independent in analyzing Holters
- Some experience with pacemaker implants and follow up
- Professional interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationships
- Effective time management skills
- Meticulous attention to technical detail
- Ability to adapt under pressure
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, and skills;
- Current Practising Certificate
- Membership of SCT
- BSc Physiology or equivalent
- Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Technology
- Certification of Cardiac Physiologists
