Our Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Planner within our North Island team, who will have responsibility to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of GFNZ's freight volumes as guided by our Transport Strategy.
In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:

- From data created by production sites, ensure each load is manifested accurately and above minimum utilization levels
- Communicate to production sites and transport providers load allocations for both inbound and outbound loads
- Monitor, record and report actual utilisation versus target levels
- Participate in the investigation of negative and positive variances including identifying opportunities for reducing/eliminating cost

About You
In order to make this role a success, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the previous experience and skillsets:

- Transport/Logistics experience within an FMCG environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including maintaining supplier and vendor relationships
- Comfortable in dealing with data and some exposure to modelling would be useful as the team transforms
- Knowledge of NZ Road Transport Law
- Experience of working with a Transport Management System
- Food Safety Knowledge
