We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Engineer or Scientist, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in environmental science with a focus on air quality to join one of Australasia's largest air quality consulting teams. This role is for 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday based in either our Auckland or Wellington offices.
The role will be focused on the assessment and management of air quality effects of our client's projects. It requires experience working in environmental consulting, undertaking air dispersion modelling to assess air quality effects, assessing the impacts of odour and dust discharges, analysing air quality and meteorological data, preparation of air quality management plans, reporting and much more. Knowledge of ambient air quality monitoring methods, industrial air emission control, policy and regulatory frameworks, and project management skills are also sought after for this role.

**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with a focus on air quality assessments
- Excellent writing skills
- A good understanding of regulatory frameworks relating to air quality
- Expertise in air quality modelling and the assessment of air quality effects
- Expertise in the assessment and managing of odour and dust discharges
- Project management skills
- Understands or is keen to learn the intricacies of a successful consultancy
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of client engagement and delivery
