Vegetable Farm Manager

We are a small-scale **Organic** market garden in Bay View, Napier. We provide _fresh, flavorsome and nutrient dense_ food to our community. We are growing a wide range of vegetables, seasonal flowers and some fruit.

We are looking for a fit, energic and organised person to manage the garden for approximately 12 - 18 months from April 2025.

You will need to have strong management skills and demonstrated experience in managing a business including strategic planning, marketing, invoicing, ordering and good communication with clients and employees.

You will need to be physically fit and strong as this role involves daily lifting of full veggie crates, spray gear and other heavy equipment. Flexibility with your time is a must and at times you will need to work in the evenings and weekends.

Health and wellbeing are important values of the company and the entire property is smoke free. We have a zero-tolerance drug policy and drug tests are undertaken randomly.

You will receive on the job training although some knowledge of organic market gardening is a plus.

Pay: $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

- On call
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
