An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Summerset Dunedin, to assist with the day to day operation of our on-site café over the weekends. This is a permanent, part-time role.

At Summerset, we're passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly, with 30+ villages from Warkworth to Dunedin.

We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.

Join our team as a Café Assistant, where your primary focus will be delivering exceptional customer service to our residents and their guests, ensuring an unparalleled café experience. You'll play a vital role in supporting our Chef by providing timely assistance and contributing to the preparation & cooking of our delicious brunch menu, enhancing the overall experience for our residents.
- be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude
- have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable as well as being able to cook our delicious brunch menu
- have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
- enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests
- enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team.
