**Fixed term until June 2023**

This role is to ensure that women receive accurate information around contraception choices after birth in order to provide contraception options that best suit their needs.

The contraception advocate will report to the clinical nurse specialist or the contraception nurse regarding day to day clinical work.

**Essential**:

- Relevant experience in providing advocacy or health messaging
- Experience working with local communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
