Bas Acountant

**Intermediate BAS Accountant | Auckland**

This is a rare opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading specialist tax advisory firms. Due to growth, my client seeks an Intermediate BAS Accountant. This firm offers flexible work-from-home options. Their offices are modern and new located in Auckland's city fringe. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team who are highly experienced and specialised in their field. This firm takes pride in its open-door approach and its friendly & supportive partners.

**The Role**:
You will have the opportunity to work with a predominantly HNW client base, including large groups and portfolios with complex tax issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of accounts.
- GST, FBT, PAYE returns and payrolls.
- Liaising with clients and building relationships.
- Forecasting and modelling.
- Assessing local and international risks with accounting and taxes for local and international clients.

**About You**:

- 3+ years in public practice from a small or mid-tier firm.
- CA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience working with MYOB and Xero
- Be adaptable, inquisitive and show initiative
- Strong commercial acumen
