Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groundworks Supervisor specializing in paving and drainage to join our team. **Responsibilities**:

- Project Planning and Coordination:

- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed work plans, including schedules, resources, and materials required for paving and drainage projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, provide technical guidance, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Team Supervision and Management:

- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of groundworkers, ensuring adherence to project plans, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support when needed.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team performance.
- Quality Control and Compliance:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that paving and drainage work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any defects, deficiencies, or deviations from project plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team and subcontractors.
- Material and Equipment Management:

- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment required for paving and drainage projects.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring their availability and proper storage.
- Monitor equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
