Upholsterer

We are looking for someone who can work independently, yet also collaborate effectively with others. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential requirements for this role.

**An upholsterer at Herati Tailor Limited may perform the following tasks**:

- Consult with the manager to determine their needs and preferences for upholstery projects, such as sofas, chairs, cushions, curtains, etc.
- Measure and cut fabric or leather according to the dimensions and shape of the project to be completed.
- Sew fabric or leather pieces together using a sewing machine or by hand.
- Able to use trade tools, staple guns, nails, glue, or other methods.
- Replace or repair damaged or worn-out upholstery materials, such as padding, springs, webbing, buttons, etc.
- Clean and maintain upholstery tools and equipment.
- Follow safety and quality standards and procedures in the workshop.

**An upholsterer at a Herati Tailor limited should have the following skills and qualifications**:

- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, leather, and upholstery materials and their properties and characteristics.
- Ability to use various upholstery tools and equipment, such as scissors, knives, staple guns, hammers, sewing machines, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, sketches, diagrams, and instructions for upholstery projects.
- Ability to measure and cut fabric or leather accurately and precisely.
- Ability to sew fabric or leather neatly and securely.
- Ability to work with different styles and designs of furniture upholstery.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Creativity and artistic sense.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy furniture and materials.

Contract length: 10000 months

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
