You’ll undertake the preparation, laying and finishing of asphalt pavements from small maintenance patches to subdivision access ways all the way through to state highway carriageway resurfacing. You will be working with a range of asphalt mixes.

In this role you’ll carry out general asphalt surfacing duties including labour and machine operations. You will get the opportunity to operate a range of asphalt equipment including trucks, pavers, skidsteers, rollers and small tools.

Along with your positive attitude, commitment to quality, and a supportive and safe workplace, there are a few other essentials to what we are looking for:

- A minimum class 1 full New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Previous experience working with Asphalt is preferred
- Class 2,4,5 and WTR endorsements are beneficial
- Be physically fit as you carry out hands on activities such as shoveling, digging, lifting, periods of walking and standing
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and travel
