**Job Title**: Ramen Cook
**Location**: Karori, Wellington
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Days required**: Monday to Sunday on shift
**Hourly Rate**: $28.18 to $30 per hour
**Hours per week**: 30 to 50 hours a week.
**Number of Vacancies**: 5 positions
**Key tasks & responsibilities**:
- Preparing fresh ingredients for Japanese ramen and other dishes.
- Ensuring all restaurant Japanese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met.
- Controlling the temperatures, seasonings and flavours are to specification.
- Ensuring the quality of food and the size of food proportions.
- Ensures that all food is attractively presented at all times.
- Prepares and cook Japanese food to meet special dietary requirements.
- Ensuring the storage of foods and others meet restaurant and statutory Health and Safety requirements.
- Updating and developing new cooking techniques and procedures in accordance with the new menu.
- Maintaining a strict level of hygiene in the kitchen workstations.
- Additional duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned as required.
**Toberightforthisroleandourorganization,youneed**:
- No prior experience or qualifications are required, but it would be an advantage if you have similar experience in hospitality.
- On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one.
- Adaptable to change and able to multitask.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Be reliable and responsible.
