We are seeking an experienced New Zealand registered Dietitian with wide variety of clinical expertise to lead the Outpatient Dietetic team consisting of diabetes, renal, bariatric’s and general outpatients.

This Section Head position within Acute Allied Health, is a designated clinical leadership position, with primary responsibility for providing clinical leadership for dietetics, and for the day-to-day running and line management of the team, in addition to maintaining a partial caseload.

Essential:

- BCapSc or BSc, and Post Grad Dip Diet or equivalent as recognised by the NZ Dietitians Board.
- NZRD with current annual practicing certificate
- Extensive clinical experience and knowledge of dietetic practice
- Cultural awareness and understanding
- Leadership experience
- Clinical teaching experience
- Full, clean driver’s licence

Desired:

- Post Grad qualification in management
- Post Grad certificate in Clinical Teaching
- Graduate certificate in Professional Supervision
