Carpenter‘s Assistant

HL Building Limited is an Auckland-based company operating within the larger Auckland region. Our work ranges from commercial to high-end residential projects. HL Building Limited requires the service of 5 full-time Carpenter’s Assistants to join our high-performing team, to work between Monday and Friday for a minimum of 40 hours per week.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assistance to carpenters in relation to all forms of carpentry, building and repair work
- Ability to follow specifications and instructions including for sawing, cutting wood pieces and adding fittings for each project
- Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites
- Installing shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, insulation and other relevant fixtures
- Compliance with company rules and regulations, especially those pertaining to timekeeping and hygiene, flexibility, and respect for co-workers

**Job Requirements**
- No prior experience required but would be an advantage if you had similar experience.
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials relevant to the trade is desirable.
