**Some More Information About The Role**

This is a very exciting role with a broad remit, you will be involved in both the conception and prototyping of numerous new products. Alongside this, you will get to flex your skills with high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing and process improvement for successful products.

Someone who has a real passion for putting together new products, understanding how they are made and driving innovation will be key. Then you will have to take your creations and make them into a reality on a much larger scale.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will sit on the senior leadership team and be responsible for the direct management of a small team. You will be required to lead the manufacturing and operations function for numerous product lines. This will rely on your strategic decision-making, oversight and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure continuous delivery excellence.

Duties include:
Increasing efficiencies to enhance capabilities

Design and implement plans for effective use of materials and labour to achieve targets

Manage and enhance current and new stakeholder relationships

Manage the full operations scope

Oversee procurement of raw materials and equipment for manufacturing

Oversee the development of product manufacturing SOPs

Sales reporting and setting of department KPIs

Providing leadership and managerial expertise to ensure a high-functioning team and desirable culture

**So Who Are You & What is Your Profile?**

You will have a Bachelors’ Degree in Electronic or Production Management or a relevant Engineering or Operations degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in electronics production/operations. You need to have proven experience managing and building quality production engineering, assembly and test automation capabilities as well as building strong stakeholder relationships.

The nature of the business requires someone with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, have an exceptionally curious mind, be a true project manager and be viewed and respected as a technical expert

Experience working on Unleashed would also be highly advantageous.

You will also need to be able to travel overseas quarterly with some other ad hoc travel from time to time.
