Chinese Cook

We are a Chinese take-away restaurant located in Milton, Otago, we are excited to open 2 positions for Chinese cook.

**Job Title**: Chinese Cook

**Location**: Milton, Otago

**Type**: Full time permanent

**Hours**:
Open Monday-Sunday

Minimum 30 hours per week, no more than 40 hours per week

**Hourly wage**: $29.96-$30.00

**Requirements**:
l Excellent knowledge of workplace hygiene requirements

l Experience in dealing with Chinese or other Asian food would be an advantage but not necessary

Main duties

l Process variety of food with a set of techniques including marinating, seasoning, spicing, mixing, mincing, dicing, slicing, stuffing, kneading, etc.

l Cook food using different methods including boiling, frying, steaming

l Store food according to specified temperature requirements.

l Manage portion control and wastages

l Help to attend to customers and handle payments from customers when needed.

l Clean kitchen using heavy duty detergent

l May assist with moving and stacking food supplies
