**Summary**Are you the support worker we are looking for? Someone who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journeys. If so, then keep reading.
**The Role**We have a full-time position available in our enhanced mobile team as a Support Worker based in Whanganui. Enhanced Mobile Service provides services Monday to Sunday between 7am - 10pm. Your shift will reflect, and you will be expected to work one weekend day. Please note, you may be asked to work either AM or PM shifts. This will be further discussed in the interview.
As a support worker you might be kept busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills or attending appointments and advocating for people. You might be assisting people to connect with their communities. You’ll need to be prepared to do whatever it takes to support our people, medication support, cleaning, cooking, or helping with everyday household tasks in preparation for transition to independent living in the community.

**The Team**You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Whanganui residential team. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional team within a supportive work environment. You’ll be working with Registered Health Professionals and Support Workers, all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.
**You**We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery focused way, you will have impeccable attention to detail.
- You must hold a current full driver’s licence
- You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one on commencing employment if successful.
- Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
- Be culturally respectful and non-judgmental.
- Have strong professional boundaries.
The Covid-19 Public Health (Vaccination) Order requires the full vaccination of anyone conducting high-risk work in the health and disability sector, or who does not necessarily provide a health service but works in a role that requires frequent contact/engagement with those who do. Therefore, all workers within the Wise Group are required by the Order to be vaccinated.
